PORT YARIMCA will handle the handling of vehicles for the Turkish market and will provide port operations services to the Peugeot, Citroen, DS, and OPEL brands in 2022 and 2023.
PORT YARIMCA, established by the OYAK Group's OYAK Maritime and Port Management INC. in collaboration with the Japanese NYK Group, holds the distinction of being Turkey's 'Newest and Most Modern Automobile Port.' This partnership is of critical importance to the automotive sector, offering services such as handling, stocking, terminal operations, and technical support.
The collaboration between Stellantis Group and PORT YARIMCA is anticipated to transform into a durable, long-term partnership, significantly contributing to the country's economy and the automotive industry. The PORT YARIMCA investment, exclusively catering to the automotive sector, boasts an annual handling capacity of 780.000 vehicles and a total closed parking area spanning 265.000 square meters. Continuously operating as the new global hub for automotive logistics, PORT YARIMCA aims to fulfill the needs of the automotive industry, often considered the driving force of exports.
